CityFibre, the third national digital infrastructure platform in the UK, is working in partnership with Derby City Council to build full fibre network capable of gigabit internet speeds across Derby. This next -generation network will underpin all the new ways of how we work, learn and entertain ourselves, while we finally say ‘goodbye’ to the endless buffer symbol and constant lagging. Finally, it will future-proof your property for at least a century and will make it very attractive to your clients, buyers and visitors as they reap the rewards of lightning fast internet speeds!
In order for CityFibre to progress the build into the city centre this month, they need to obtain permission from all property and business owners so they can install all the necessary apparatus (via small access points located at the fronts of your premises). Their aim is to keep the disruption and construction of this new network to absolute minimum so there’ll be no change to your usual operations. Once the build is complete you’ll be able to connect to this new network via City Fibres ISP partners and enjoy the fastest speeds available in the world.
To help CityFibre achieve this and to give your permission to build this new network outside your premise, please contact Dominika Walker, City Manager, on dominika.walker@cityfibre.com or 07921 817400.
