The St Peters Quarter Business Improvement District is a business led initiative and your input and views are essential.
Business Improvement Districts are driven by participating businesses working together to maximise benefits for the BID area and those businesses within it. Each business within the BID area with a rateable value of £12,001 or more is liable for a BID levy to contribute to the costs of the projects and activities undertaken by the BID.
The greater your involvement and the more activities you take advantage of, the better the value for money you will recieve from your BID levy.
The St Peters Quarter BID Board is elected by members of St Peters Quarter Derby Ltd, drawn predominantly from those paying a levy in the area and made up of a cross-section of businesses, stakeholders and key agencies associated with the successful delivery of the BID projects. The role of the Board is to safeguard the interests of levy payers by ensuring that the BID operates in line with the Business Plan and offers consistent value for money in line with its targets.
St Peters Quarter Ltd is the registered company limited by guarantee, which is charged with the responsibility for delivering the Business Improvement District Plan for 2017-2022. Membership of St Peters Quarter Ltd is open and free to all St Peters Quarter Business Improvement District levy payers and offers the opportunity to vote on all BID Company issues arising at the Annual General Meeting (AGM). Each business is entitled to one member and one vote on matters affecting the BID on behalf of your business. To download the membership application form please click here.
The St Peters Quarter events provide an excellent opportunity for businesses to engage with the BID team, Rangers and other partners, keep up to date with BID projects and find out how to get involved in upcoming BID activities.
