The 2020 Mainframe Awards are an opportunity to celebrate the digital and creative community in Derby and Derbyshire.
Nominations are now open and entering is free and simple – pick a category, add a few words and any supporting information you’d like to provide to enrich your entry (pictures, links, videos, files) and submit your nomination via the link on the Mainframe website. You can submit for a maximum of two categories – submissions close on Friday 31st January 2020.
Categories this year include:
PUTTING DERBY/DERBYSHIRE ON THE MAP – the winner will be someone making us proud in how they are flying the flag for our region;
CREATIVITY FOR GOOD – the winner will be able to demonstrate how their product, project or organisation has contributed to the betterment of lives through creative means, both locally or further afield;
FAMILY PARTICIPATION – Do you help local families participate in digital and creative activities? Do you create products or services aimed at getting more families in our region involved in art and culture? If so, the judge would like to hear from you;
EMERGING DIGITAL/CREATIVE STAR (UNDER 25) – recognising an individual who has made an impact on the digital/creative landscape in Derby & Derbyshire;
BEST DIGITAL OR CREATIVE START UP – a company or organisation that has launched in the last three years and has already found a strong and loyal following, customer base or audience;
BEST DIGITAL OR CREATIVE UPSCALER -are you an entrepreneur whoโs business has seen rapid growth and expansion? Trading for more than three years your bold plans will be paying off.
DIGITAL DISRUPTOR – a business or product which is challenging the established order within a market and winning recognition and customers;
MAKE & TRADE – recognising someone continuing this proud tradition, selling on a small scale and making locally;
UNSUNG HERO AWARD – someone who usually flies under the radar but is actually a digital or creative workhorse;
DIGITAL AMBASSADOR OF THE YEAR – voted for by the Mainframe Community, the Digital Ambassador will be a champion for Derby/Derbyshire, focused on making the city and region a great place for digital and creative businesses to set-up and thrive.
