Padley Charity in Donations Drive

The Padley Centre is seeking donations in a variety of forms – perhaps you could help?

Are you doing the gardening, now the weather is nice?

If you have any plants that need a new home, or if you see any damaged or cheap plants for sale at your local Garden Centre, we would be grateful for donations.

The people we help love our garden at the day centre, it’s their little slice of heaven to relax in and receive the support they need. Many also love to help in the garden, looking after the many different flowers, fruits and vegetables that grow there.

Can you help with food and clothing donations?

We are currently providing 2,000 meals per month, either as hot meals in our day centre, or in our emergency food parcels. More people are having to use free food services as the cost-of-living crisis continues to have an impact on their daily lives.

Here is a list of items we particularly need, but we are grateful for anything you can donate.

DEODORANT -DISPOSABLE RAZORS – KITCHEN ROLL – TOILET ROLL – SHAVING FOAM – SHAMPOO -CONDITIONER – SHOWER GEL – SANITARY PRODUCTS – LAUNDRY DETERGENT – WASHING UP LIQUID.

CLOTHING – SHOES – UNUSED UNDERWEAR FOR ALL GENDERS AND SIZES BOOKS – BRIC A BRAC – JEWELLERY – BEDDING – COATS – HATS – GLOVES -SCARVES.

Can You Donate Your Time?

We are looking for a volunteer van driver and driver’s mate to do our donation collection run on Fridays 10am – 3pm (often finished by 1pm).

If you have free time, are over the age of 25, and have a clean driving licence, we would love to hear from you.
